Aass Brewery has together with Marius Egge made a “Whisky”. The base of the drink is Norwegian Christmas beer that had to be returned to the brewery. This beer was then distilled and has been aged in oak barrels for 3 years. The beer .. err .. I mean Whisky, no wait .. what?! Anyway, it’s available from Vinmonopolet in Norway.
According to Lierposten they have used around 10.000 liters of beer to make 800 50cl bottles of “Whisky”.
