Beer review: BrewDog Punk IPA (in a can)

BrewDog Punk IPAA while ago I ordered some bottles of Punk X from BrewDog which was a new version of the classic Punk IPA. Punk X was a bit less bitter, but with more flavor because of more hops being used for dry hopping, and because the beer is less filtered. I believe the same recipe has been used for this canned version of Punk IPA. If anyone knows otherwise, or can confirm this, please leave a comment.

About the same color as the bottled version, with some haziness (which is a result of less filtering).

This beer has a really powerful aroma. Pineapple, grape and some malty sweetness. Lovely!

Nice level of bitterness. The beer is packed full of flavor, and you will find much of the same elements present in the aroma. The carbonation level is very pleasant as well.

Pretty long and balanced finish. Very pleasant!

I really like this beer so I’m going high … 4.2/5.
