Hazy dark orange/brownish color with a big off-white/beige head.
The color is quite dark for an IPA.
The aroma on this beer is quite flowery. There is also a decent amount of malty sweetness present.
At first the flavor is quite grassy. I’m getting grapefruit, some bread and some oranges.
After a while the sweetness from the malt shines through which balances out the hops quite nice.
Nice level of bitterness to this beer.
Pretty long finish with a good amount of citrus.
This would go well with some medium strong blue cheese or different spicy dishes.
The beer itself has a good amount of flavor so make sure the dish packs a punch.
A pretty good IPA but I’m getting some artificial hints in both aroma and flavor. Score: 3.9/5.
